Bovi-Bond Adhesive Cartridge 210 ml

Bovi-Bond urethane hoof adhesive is a proven hoof block adhesive system for attaching blocks to the healthy claw of lame cows, helping support effective hoof treatment and recovery.

The 210 ml dual-cartridge design keeps the two adhesive components separate until they are combined in the mixing tip, helping provide a consistent mix and reliable bond when used with the compatible dispensing gun.

Application Guide

After treating the affected claw, trim the healthy claw to create a clean, flat, and dry surface. Apply approximately 20 ml of adhesive, or a 3 mm-thick layer, to the block. Press the block lightly onto the hoof and hold still for 30 seconds.

Bovi-Bond sets in approximately one minute after application and can become load-bearing after 2 to 3 minutes, or slightly longer in cold weather.

Hoof Block Removal

The block should generally be removed after 4 to 6 weeks, by which time the affected claw should have recovered if the repair has been completed correctly.

Bovi-Bond Cartridge Instructions

• Load the cartridge into the dispensing gun
• Unscrew the locking collar with green plug and keep it aside for reuse
• Equalise the cartridge tubes before attaching the mixing tip
• Attach the mixing tip and secure it with the collar
• After use, reseal any remaining material with the green plug and locking collar
