Tubbease hoof boots provide a practical and effective solution for soaking, dressing and protecting equine hooves during treatment and recovery. Designed for short-term therapeutic use, Tubbease simplify the management of common hoof conditions while reducing the stress and time often associated with traditional soaking and bandaging methods.

Suitable for use with hoof dressings, poultices, creams, powders and liquid medications, Tubbease are ideal for treating abscesses, infections, bruised soles, thrush, laminitis, white line disease and seedy toe. The breathable design helps maintain hoof hygiene while allowing airflow, supporting faster recovery and minimising moisture build-up.

Manufactured from lightweight EVA material, Tubbease are flexible, shock-absorbing and heat mouldable, allowing a secure and comfortable fit for both horses and ponies. Optional EVA sole inserts are available to provide additional cushioning and support where required.

Tubbease can be used in several ways depending on the treatment protocol:

• For soaking treatments, the chosen solution can be poured directly into the sock section once fitted, or the hoof can be immersed in a bucket while wearing the Tubbease
• For topical medications, simply apply the treatment to the hoof before fitting the Tubbease to help keep the area clean and protected
• Dressings or poultices can also be soaked or medicated prior to application inside the Tubbease

Optional sole inserts may also be medicated before placement to assist with targeted treatment and additional comfort.

In addition to therapeutic use, Tubbease can be used to protect hooves during transport or prior to competition preparation.

Tubbease are simple to use, cost-effective and designed and manufactured in New Zealand. Available in five sizes, they are a valuable addition to any equine first aid kit, enabling early intervention and improved management of hoof-related conditions.

• Intended for short-term use only, typically 5–7 days, with daily monitoring recommended

• Horses prone to chewing or damaging equipment, or young horses unfamiliar with hoof coverings, may require supervision or the use of a muzzle/restraint during use
