Shoof prodders are reliable, inexpensive and have an output of 6,900 V. The yellow model is powered by 4 x ‘C’ cell batteries (supplied) located in a fully-sealed water-resistant compartment. On/Off master switches, and polycarbonate shafts with o-ring seals. Supplied with shaft.
Shoof Farm prodders are very reliable and pass all of our user requirements and are available at an excellent price. Output is 6,900v. Available as regular (yellow) battery powered (4x C-cell batteries) or as 240V rechargable (red) battery powered (NiMH battery). Both units can cope with short-term immersion in water (water resistant to IP45). Both feature On/Off master switches which prevent accidental use, and eliminate residual shock. Shafts are polycarbonate and feature an o-ring seal to ensure contacts stay dry.
The yellow prodder is powered by 4 ‘C’ cells (supplied) located in a fully-sealed compartment. Shaft is 57cm. Weight 680gm.
