The Hippomed AirOne Flex is a battery-operated, ultrasonic nebuliser used by riders and veterinarians throughout the world, specifically designed for horses.

Inhalation therapy used frequently can be of great help in treating horses with respiratory irritations and issues such as asthma, intermittent cough, allergies, bronchitis, fungi/mites in the lungs, bacterial infections, and chronic respiratory problems (ROA, COPD) as well as prophylaxis and damping of the respiratory tract.

Ultrasonic nebulisers produce cold aerosol through high-frequency vibrations. When inhaled at rest these tiny aerosol particles (0,47 to 6 µm) provide optimal wetting of the bronchial alveoli and effectively deliver saline, medications, and treatments into the upper and lower respiratory tract.

The AirOne Flex deliver high nebuliser performance of up to 15ml/min and 2-5ml/breath. In continuous operation this is adapted to each animal’s lung and due to the ventilation-dependent nebulisation, the duration of each therapy will vary between each horse and be adjusted by the handler.

Battery operated for use everywhere. Lightweight 980gram nebuliser unit can be attached directly to mask or used with long hose. Splash-proof construction (IP54 rating) and impact-resistant materials ensure safe operation.

Transparent mask for observation of nostrils and ease of breathing. Any excessive mucus collects in the mask catch basin and can be visualised for colour and consistency before being easily removed. Great for collecting sputum samples. Optimised mask fit due to soft, flexible rubber seal. Optional masks available in three sizes. Mask can be easily cleaned due to removable valves.
