The piglet is placed into the device on its back with the head positioned forward. By attaching the clamp in the direction of the piglet’s head, the hind legs are fixed and the lower body is restrained, leaving the working area accessible. This setup is designed to allow the procedure to be carried out by one person when used correctly.
Manufactured from stainless steel for durability in farm environments, the cradle is hygienic and easy to clean. It can be mounted on the partition in the farrowing pen using the spring-loaded mount sold separately (220697), or adapted to alternative mounting systems. Suitable for castration, tail docking and iron injections.
