The Bucas Power Turnout Medium is engineered to deliver exceptional durability, protection, and comfort across a wide temperature range. With 150g of Thermobonded polyester insulation, this rug provides reliable warmth without bulk—ideal for variable weather.

The ballistic nylon outer (1680 denier) is both waterproof (>5000 mm hydrostatic head) and breathable (>3000 g/m²/24h), offering robust defence against wind and rain. A heat-reflective aluminium inner coating and sun-reflective silver outer help regulate body temperature, extending the usability of the rug in both cool and mild conditions.

The Stay-dry anti-bacterial fleece lining allows you to put the rug on a wet horse, functioning like a sweat rug by wicking away moisture and helping to maintain coat health. The silk-feel lining at the shoulders and shoulder darts enhance comfort and prevent rubbing, ensuring a perfect fit with full freedom of movement.

The Click’n Go front with magnetic Snap-lock closure adds ease and security, while cross surcingles, elastic leg straps, a tail flap, reflective strips, and a deluxe tail cord offer complete and safe coverage. Designed for adaptability, it includes attachment points for a matching neck (sold separately) and is compatible with Bucas Liners, Quilts, and Coolers.

Machine washable at 30°C. Follow Bucas Wash & Care Guidelines and consider using Bucas Rug Wash and Bucas Rug Re-conditioner to help maintain performance and durability. Neck sold separately.
