A highly conductive biodegradable polywire for flood prone areas such as waterway fencing. Planned limited lifespan- beyond that is designed to break down in an environmentally friendly manner. Quick and easy to erect and maintain. Breaks away at 50kg strain before major damage can occur. Can be retrieved and if entangled cut and rejoined with a knot to get fence up and running in a short timeframe. Easily reinstated post flood- no tractor or special equipment required to drive posts, even in the boggiest areas.
Taragate Flo-Wire – a mixed metal poly wire of tinned copper and2 stainless steel wire strands with a planned lifespan of two years. The wires have coloured tracer strands which will fade during its lifetime to indicate when the wire should be replaced. It has a breaking strain of 50kg. Will survive several floods/washings without losing its strength or conductivity and fades in colour to indicate replacing is required. If there is a flood the wire can be retrieved and if entangled can be cut and re-joined with a knot and the fence can be up and operating promptly. The poly wire is attached to the standards by small cable ties with a low breaking strain to break before major damage can occur.
